Back from Liverpool and back to work.
Great news is that selected pieces of my work are now in Gloss Gallery in Exeter, including an original. http://www.glossgallery.co.uk/
Plus, Horace the hare is making his way to the Mayflower gallery in Tavistock.
Today, after visiting the post office to send some art work off as a donation to Cancer research at Christies in Manchester ( Lovely Karen Frost is holding a fundraising event this fri) , I will be teaching art at Art for All in the studios at art frame solutions .
Hoping to be back in my studio and working on my hares again tomorrow.
I’ve been out and about recently. Out of the studio and looking at art in the North. Lucky to visit Gormley’s ‘Another Place’
And also visited Liverpool’s Tate and saw a Andy Warhol and Francis Bacon and a giant Felix the cat.
Also saw some good friends.
So there I was mooching about in the London graphics centre in Covent garden, my arms laden with lovely art materials, when I heard a squeal of horror from the shop assistant. I turned to see what the problem was and what shocked him so: it was my furry brown hat that I had accidentally dropped ; he thought it was a rat!
I found lots of great new nibs, brushes and inks that I can’t wait to try out.
Plus I found lots of interesting trees in st James park.
Got great news today too, my work is now in
Higher Street Gallery, 1 Higher Street, Dartmouth, Devon. TQ6 9RB

Also some lovely red tones in this tree in my garden too.
